The 8312 Power Supply Module is designed to convert line power into the appropriate DC power required by all Tricon modules. Located on the left side of the chassis, it provides reliable power to the system. The module includes terminal strips for system grounding, incoming power, and hardwired alarms, which are positioned at the lower left corner of the backplane.Each 8312 module requires incoming power rated for a minimum of 240 watts. The main processor is capable of detecting a system fault if the primary power to the power module fails. To ensure fault tolerance, the system uses a fully fault-tolerant quadruplicated output switch that votes on each set of three signals, with the switch elements powered by power transistors to maintain system integrity and reliability.
