The Trusted™ TMR Expander INTERFACE MODULE, part number T9110, is a critical component in the Trusted™ Control System. It resides within the Trusted™ Controller Chassis and acts as the master interface between the Inter-Module Bus (IMB) and the Expander Bus. The Expander Bus facilitates the connection of multiple chassis systems, allowing for expanded capabilities using UTP cable connections, all while maintaining the high-bandwidth, fault-tolerant features of the IMB.

This module also provides fault containment for both the Expander Bus and the IMB in the Controller Chassis, ensuring the system’s reliability. Its High Integrity Fault Tolerant (HIFT) Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR) architecture supports fault tolerance, allowing the system to continue operating even in the event of a failure.
