Using the FX-USI-0002 MODULE：
The FX-USI-0002 module can be used as spare part for the FE-USI-0002, FC-USI-0002 and FC-USI-0001
module and:
• can replace the FE-USI-0002, FC-USI-0002 and FC-USI-0001 module on line
• will function as the FE-USI-0002, FC-USI-0002 and FC-USI-0001 module.
• will function with the other FE-USI-0002, FC-USI-0002 and FC-USI-0001 module in the redundant SM
Controller.
• will only function with Safety Manager software releases R140.1 and higher.
The FX-USI-0002 has enhanced functionalities which are not active when the module is used as a replacement
for FC-USI-0001. These enhancements are available in Safety Manager release R151.1 and higher. Updating the
system configuration to module type USI-0002 can be done online
