The primary applications of the 3300 XL NSv Sensor System are:

Suitable for areas with limited access, such as front-hole, side-view, or rear-view applications.
The 3300 XL 5mm and 8mm sensor systems are ideal for small target applications, such as measuring radial vibration on shafts smaller than 51mm (2 inches) or axial position for flat targets smaller than 15mm (0.6 inches).
It is mainly used in the following applications:

Phase reference (Keyphasor signal)
The design of the 3300 XL NSv Sensor System allows it to replace the 3300 RAM sensor system, as well as the 3000 series or 7000 series 190 sensor systems. Upgrading from a 3300 RAM system to a 3300 XL NSv system can be done using existing probes, extension cables, and monitoring systems along with the 3300 XL NSv Proximitor sensor. However, upgrading from a 3000 series or 7000 series sensor system requires replacement of the probe, extension cable, and Proximitor sensor.
