The 3500/45 Position Monitor is a 4-channel instrument thataccepts input from proximity transducers, Rotary PositionTransducers (RPTs), DC Linear Variable DifferentialTransformers (DC LVDTs), AC Linear Variable DifferentialTransformers (AC LVDTs), and rotary potentiometers. Themonitor conditions the input and compares the conditionedsignals with user-programmable alarms.
