The 330750 and 330752 High Temperature Velomitor System sensor head and integral cable are specifically engineered for high-temperature environments. This design allows the sensor head to be mounted on surfaces with temperatures reaching up to +400°C (+752°F).

To achieve this capability, the transducer design separates the sensing element from the signal conditioning electronics. These two components are permanently connected using an integrated cable, which eliminates the need for connectors—a common source of transducer failures. The integrated cable also allows the signal conditioning electronics to be positioned in a cooler location, as the internal electronics are rated for temperatures ranging from -55°C to +121°C (-67°F to +250°F).

This integrated design ensures that the system can capture machinery performance data with the same accuracy and reliability as other Bently Nevada Velomitor transducers, but in significantly higher temperature environments.

For applications in lower temperature environments, the standard 330500 Velomitor Piezo-velocity Sensor is recommended. It is suitable for installation in locations with a maximum operating temperature of +121°C (+250°F).
