This sensor’s slim profile makes it ideal for installation in both high-density DIN-rail setups and traditional panel-mount configurations, providing flexibility for various mounting environments. One of the standout features of the 3300 XL NSv Proximitor Sensor is its improved RFI/EMI immunity, which significantly reduces the risk of nearby high-frequency radio signals interfering with the transducer system. This enhanced immunity also enables the sensor to meet European CE mark approvals without requiring special mounting considerations.

The sensor is designed for use with shielded triad cables of 0.2 to 1.5 mm² (16 to 24 AWG), with the recommendation of using 0.25 to 0.75 mm² (18 to 23 AWG) cables with ferrules. It supports a maximum cable length of 305 meters (1,000 feet) between the sensor and the monitor, allowing for flexible installation options in larger systems.

When paired with the 3300 XL NSv Proximitor Sensor and monitor, the frequency response shows minimal signal rolloff at higher frequencies, even with extended field wiring lengths. The system maintains a gap sensitivity of 7.87 V/mm (200 mV/mil), with a tolerance of +12.5%/-20%, ensuring accurate readings within the linear range of 1.5 mm (60 mil), even when measuring in increments of 0.25 mm (10 mils). This makes the 3300 XL NSv Proximitor Sensor a reliable and effective solution for vibration monitoring across a wide range of industrial applications.
