The output voltage of the Bently Nevada 3300 Proximity Transducer System is directly proportional to the separation of the probe tip from the target conductive surface. It is generally utilized for vibration and position measurement applications on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as Keyphasor and speed measurement applications. It is capable of both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) measurements. Over a large temperature range, the system outputs a precise, consistent signal. This level of performance is shared by all 3300 Proximity Transducer Systems, which also eliminate the requirement for bench calibration or individual component matching while enabling full interchangeability of the probe, extension cable, and proximity sensor.

Proximitor Sensor The 3300 Proximitor Sensor improves on previous Bently Nevada eddy current transducers in terms of linearity and temperature stability. It also has an integral isolation plate as its base, which eliminates the need for separate isolator plates.
