The 330703-000-080-10-02-00 system features the 3300 NSv probe and extension cable, which are fully mechanically and electrically compatible with Bently Nevada’s previous 3300 RAM proximity probes and extension cables. The NSv probe offers enhanced chemical resistance, making it suitable for many process compressor applications.

For standard X-Y probe configurations, a minimum spacing of 30 mm (1.2 in) is recommended, while configurations with X-Y proximity probes offset axially by 23 mm (0.9 in) require a minimum spacing of 20 mm (0.8 in). Measurements on shaft diameters smaller than 30 mm (1.2 in) typically necessitate closer spacing of radial vibration or axial position transducers to reduce the risk of electromagnetic field interactions (cross-talk) that could impact measurement accuracy.
