The NT255 is a versatile control module designed for industrial automation and networked systems. It features a USB 2.0 host interface and a USB device service interface, which enable flexible connectivity for peripherals and communication. Additionally, it provides Ethernet interfaces supporting 10/100/1000 Mbit/s speeds with IEEE 1588 for precise time synchronization, which is critical in distributed systems and real-time applications.

The system also includes 512 kB of non-volatile data memory and an internal CFast card for mass storage, ensuring data retention and reliability. For program storage, it has 64 MB of internal program memory, enabling efficient execution of control programs. These features make the NT255 suitable for tasks requiring fast, reliable data processing and storage, as well as connectivity in complex networked environments.
